Arnhem / Amersfoort, 4 November 2025 — LEAP24, the ultra-rapid charging network for commercial vehicles, today announces the launch of its Partner Card and LEAP24 App across its European network, powered by Arnhem-based technology partner Deftpower. The new service gives commercial drivers, from taxi operators to logistics fleets, discounted charging at LEAP24’s growing network and access to 950.000 public charging points across Europe.

Meeting rising costs and complexity

With zero-emission zones expanding across European cities and the transition to electric commercial transport accelerating, the LEAP24 Partner Card addresses two critical challenges: rising charging costs and administrative complexity. For a monthly fee of £4.99/€4.99 per vehicle, businesses receive significantly reduced rates at all LEAP24 locations, plus complete transparency on usage, tariffs, and invoicing through the LEAP24 app and Business Portal.

“We want electric driving to become as straightforward for professional drivers as refueling once was,” says Pelle Schlichting, CEO of LEAP24. “With Deftpower, we're adding smart digital tools that help our customers save costs and make the switch to electric transport simpler.”

One card and one invoice

Through the Partner Card, commercial drivers benefit from substantial discounts at LEAP24’s ultra-rapid hubs — up to 35% in the Netherlands and 14% in the UK. Through the connected app, drivers can check real-time charger availability, compare prices, and plan routes with charging stops. Fleet managers gain access to an online business portal with real-time session data, cost summaries, and VAT-ready invoices across multiple drivers and vehicles.

All payments and invoicing are powered by Deftpay, Deftpower's native payment solution built specifically for EV charging. The platform handles split billing for lease vehicles, automatic reimbursement for home charging, international VAT compliance, and fraud prevention — all consolidated into a single monthly invoice.

“LEAP24 understands what commercial transport needs: accessible locations, spacious bays, and reliability,” says Jacob van Zonneveld, CEO of Deftpower. “We’re ensuring their customers get that same simplicity digitally — one card and one invoice for all their vehicles.”

Supporting Europe's transition to zero-emission transport

The launch comes as demand for commercial EV charging infrastructure accelerates across Europe. In London, the expansion of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) is driving rapid adoption of electric taxis and delivery vehicles. In the Netherlands, upcoming road pricing for freight transport and zero-emission zones in major cities are accelerating fleet electrification.

LEAP24’s network features strategically located ultra-rapid hubs equipped with 150–300 kW chargers and spacious bays designed specifically for vans, trucks, and taxis. Sites are positioned on business parks and near key transport corridors, providing the accessibility and reliability commercial operators require.

With Deftpower’s eMSP platform, LEAP24 removes barriers to further accelerate Europe’s shift toward zero-emission commercial transport.
